Sony launching PC gaming monitors and headsets

Sony is launching new gaming equipment that is aimed primarily at PC players, Video Games Chronicle reports.

The Inzone line was revealed on Tuesday, during a media event, and includes a number of gaming monitors as well as several headsets.

Sony says that the line is “a brand for PC gamers” but the initially announced gear is compatible with PlayStation 5. It is not clear if they will work with other consoles at this point.

The monitors and headsets, though, are said to have been designed so that they fit aesthetically with the PS5.

The most expensive monitor, the Inzone M9 monitor, is set to cost £999 and offers 4K resolution as well as HDR, a 144Hz refresh rate and variable refresh rate technology that the PS5 is beginning to implement.

The monitor has a 27in screen with 1ms response times, and also has a variety of gaming assist features: an on-display crosshair and FPS counter are both present.

There is a cheaper option, the M3, which has a 1080p display and runs at 240Hz.

There are also three Inzone headsets, with some very snazzy features. They range from £269 to £89.

The most expensive headset, the H9, is noise canceling and has precise rival detection with 360 spatial sound for gaming, a premium design that is set to allow you hours of comfortable gaming, and dual noise sensor technology.

The H7, mid-range headset, has rival detection with 360 spatial sound, the same premium design and a boom microphone.

There is also a H3 gaming headset that is £89 but is wired, explaining the cheaper price, though it boasts much of the same features as the H7.

They’re currently slated to release throughout the remainder of 2022.

We’ll bring you all the latest news when they do hit the shelves.
