Elden Ring Player Makes Albert Einstein

Elden Ring, the latest title from FromSoftware, gives gamers a lot of control over the gameplay experience. Players can choose their class, their weapons, what activities they want to do, and certain abilities. They can also use Elden Ring‘s epic character creator to produce unique and detailed avatars. Some dedicated fans of the title have even taken to recreating real people in-game, like the Reddit user who recently posted the likeness of a famous historical figure that they created.

GAMERANT VIDEO OF THE DAY

There are many things that Elden Ring does better than other FromSoftware games, which includes character creation. The creator allows players to fully customize their characters, and so it should come as no surprise that some imaginative fans have taken to unleashing the full power of the title’s in-game tools.

In a recent photo on Reddit, user oEmersonKs showed their creation, which looks almost identical to Albert Einstein. The character has a whimsical look about him that will surely make exploring Elden Ring‘s open world hysterical. The Einstein-inspired avatar was made by using in-game tools to shape everything from the eyes to the chin. OEMersonKs is hardly the first person to use the character creator to make someone famous, though their creation is definitely one of the most thorough.

Of course, avatar aesthetics are not correlated to the title’s difficulty. Elden Ring players who have beaten the game have not done it because they have cool characters. But the ability to be imaginative is something that many video games work hard to foster, and the fact that Elden Ring does it so well is nothing to scoff at. Indeed, there are many aspects of the title, like the in-game exploration and the expansive dungeons, that force players to get creative in order to succeed. Though, it can’t be denied that the character customizer in Elden Ring is one of the most obvious, and fun, examples of the creativity that the title inspires.

Most players aren’t patient, or skilled, enough to make avatars as detailed as oEmersonKs’s. Fortunately, that isn’t the point. Elden Ring is a tough game, one that can be very frustrating at times. But with in-game tools like the character creator, FromSoftware gives players many experiences that are purely joyful. Some gamers have finished Elden Ring multiple times while others are content to explore the Lands Between and never complete the title in its entirety. No matter who is playing, though, Elden Ring provides a thought-provoking experience that entices fans at every turn.

Elden Ring is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
