Madison PS5, PS4 Release Date Announced

Developer Bloodious Games and publisher Perp Games have announced Madison PS5 and PS4 physical editions alongside confirming a release date of June 24th. Although the game will also release on Xbox Series X/S, PC, and Nintendo Switch, the physical “Possessed” editions have only been confirmed for PlayStation platforms. They’ll come with bonus content including downloadable content keys, a physical book and music sheet, ritual cards, and two polaroid photos.

Madison PS5, PS4 will feature an “unsettling” story

Madison is described as a first-person psychological horror game that features “disturbing gameplay, and an unsettling and compelling narrative.” Players will wake up as protagonist Luca, and find themselves locked up in a dark room with bloodied hands. The titular character is a demon that tortures Luca and forces him to continue performing a “gory” ritual that started decades ago. Luca is engaged in sinister acts as part of the ritual, all while he looks for a way to break free.

“Every character in Madison has a disturbing story that blends seamlessly into the main narrative,” writes Bloodious Games. “Watch every step you make and be careful not to attract any unwanted attention. You won’t be alone.” Madison’s main feature is an instant camera that is key to surviving the torture. “Develop the photos you take manually and face the fear of unveiling the truth,” reads an official description. “Search everything, pick up elements and interact with them to survive the entities.”

Madison will feature 3D sounds, puzzles, and high quality visuals. Watch its Gamescom 2021 trailer below.
